Norfolk - Herbert Carter of 1234 W. 38th St., a native of Norfolk, died 
Sunday in a hospital.

He was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Carter and Clinton Carter of Norfolk; 
four sisters, Ms. Betty Moore of Norfolk, Mrs. Barbara Jones of California 
Mrs. Angelyn Moody of Washington; and two brothers, Solomon Moore Jr., and 
Larry Moore of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by the 
Rev. J. L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
