Miss Gladys Carter

Funeral services for Miss Gladys Carter of 738 Johnson avenue, who died Sept. 
12, at a local hospital, were conducted Sunday, Sept. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the 
First Baptist Church, Bute street, with the pastor, the Rev. E. Paul Simms, 
officiating.  Miss Carter was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter of 
Norfolk.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge 
of arrangements.
