Virginian-Pilot December 30, 1929
CARTER, BEULAH ROSE – At a local hospital, Saturday, December 28, 1929, at 7:15 
p.m., BEULAH ROSE CARTER, wife of William B. Carter and daughter of Mayr Joyner 
and the late Carr Holloman Rose, in the 34th year of her age.
The remains will be carried from the funeral home of Lawrence F. Sanderlin, 
Thirty-fourth street and Debree avenue, to Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church for 
funeral services TUESDAY AFTERNOON at 2:30 o’clock. Friends of the family invited 
to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
