Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch Juily 26, 1918
Miss Eula May Carter died yesterday afternoon at the home of her father, J. B. 
Carter, 1130 Brambleton avenue, aged 19 years. She is survived by her father, four 
sisters, Liela, Allene, Mabel M., and Salome Carter, and two brothers, Russell E. 
and Cecil Carter, all of Norfolk. The funeral takes place at 2 p.m. tomorrow at H. 
C. Smith’s funeral apartments, 306-08 Bank street, Rev. J. T. Riddick, of Park 
Avenue Baptist church, officiating. Burial in Elmwood.
