CARTER, GEORGE MARCUS – Suddenly, in this city, Tuesday, July 19th, 1938, at 3:30 
o’clock p.m., GEORGE MARCUS CARTER, son of the late Richard Walter and Mrs. Amanda 
Moore Carter, in the 70th year of his age. Services will be held at the chapel of 
the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial avenue, THURSDAY AFTERNOON 
at 2 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood 
Cemetery.
