Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch November 14, 1958
James Thomas Carter, 84, died in a Norfolk nursing home Thursday at 12:40 p.m. 
after a long illness. He was a resident of Princess Anne County, residing at 851 
Pecan Point Rd. most of his life.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Carter; one sister, Mrs. Olivia 
Cardon, of Norfolk; one brother, Robert O. Carter, of Milton, N.C.; four nieces 
and one nephew.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home Saturday at 
3:30 p.m.
The family will assemble at the home of his niece, Mrs. Garabedian, 5535-D 
Carnavon Dr., Lansdale Gardens.
