CARTER, MARY AMBLER WILLCOX — At a local hospital, Friday, March 15th, 1963, at 
6:15 p.m., MARY AMBLER WILLCOX CARTER, wife of Rear Adm. Worrall Reed Carter, USN 
(ret.), and daughter of the late Judge Thomas Hamlin Willcox and Mary Cary Ambler 
Willcox, in the 77th year of her age. Remains will be taken from the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Meadowbrook, for 
a funeral service MONDAY AFTERNOON at 2 p.m. Friends of the family are invited to 
attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to 
a favorite charity.
