NORFOLK - A funeral service for Robert J. Carter Jr. will be held Monday at 1 p.m.
in Goodwill Baptist Church by the Rev. Moses Davis. Burial will be in Calvary
Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.

He was the son of Robert J. Carter Sr. and Mrs. Dorothy Odom and the husband of Mrs.
Ruby Carter. He was employed by Baker Sheet Metal Co.

Besides his wife and parents, surviving are two daughters, Miss Veronica Carter and
Miss Adrian Carter, both of Norfolk; three brothers, Ronald Carter, Alton Carter,
and Terry Odom, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Mrs. Jacquelyn Holland, Mrs. Patricia
Chavis, and Miss Mollie Cater, all of Norfolk.
