Cartledge, died yesterday at 4:45 p.m. at a local hospital. She was a native of Columbia, S.C. and had been a resident of Norfolk for the past nine years, residing at 217 Grace Street. Surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. Aurine Tiller; one son, Alex C. Cartledge, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Alberta Craft and Mrs. Lilla Duren, both of Columbia, S.C. and one brother, a Mr. Dunlap, of Winsboro, S.C. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Cartledge was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. ***************************************************************************** Mrs. Lenora R. Cartledge — Funeral services for Mrs. Cartledge were held yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the residence, 217 Grace street, the Rev. Edmund C. Kiefer, of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with clusters of chrysanthemums, dahlias and ferns. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were Paul Flanagan, T. R. Arthur, J. D. Halbett, Alex Jones, N. C. Powers and W. C. Cahoon.
