Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, August 8, 1990 
Frank Melvin Cartwright of the 6400 block of Knox Road died Aug. 5, 1990, in a
hospital.

Mr. Cartwright was a Norfolk native. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Vivian D. Cartwright; three sons, Melvin P.
Cartwright and Douglas A. Cartwright, both of Norfolk, and Frank A. Cartwright
of Virginia Beach; a sister, Ethel Harris of Norfolk; a brother, Earl Cartwright
of Virginia Beach; and eight grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Shiloh Baptist Church by
the Rev. John H. Foster. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be
from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in
the church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Friends may join the family at the residence.
