Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, May 29, 1995 
Earl Cartwright, of the 1300 block of Ferry Point Road, died May 24, 1995, in a
local hospital.

Mr. Cartwright was born in Norfolk. He had worked for Norfolk & Western Railroad
for 30 years. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and the Usher Board.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Cartwright; two daughters, Derrell M. Turner
of Norfolk and Audrey T. Harmon of Virginia Beach; a son, Earl Cartwright of
Ardmore, Pa.; a sister, Ethel Harris of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews
and cousins and some very special sons.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Pleasant Grove Baptist
Church by the Rev. Darryl Scott. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves
Funeral Home in charge. The family will assemble at the residence the day of the
service.
