Norfolk - Mrs. Annie Cartwright, former resident of Berkley died at her home in
New York City Dec. 13 after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Trinity AME Church with the Rev. H. B.
Threadgill officiating. Condolences were read by Willie A. Vaughn.

The deceased is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Viola C. Smith; husband, Leroy
Cartwright; one brother, Abraham Johnson; two cousins, Mrs. Otelia Poyner and
Eugene Perkins.

Interment was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Chatman Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.
