NORFOLK — Mrs. Mary Ann Cecelia Carty, 90, widow of Joseph J. Carty and daughter 
of Michael and Mrs. Johanna O’Brien Hannon, died Monday at 10:20 a.m. in a 
Princess Anne County nursing home.

Mrs. Carty was a native of Petersburg and lived in Norfolk for 80 years, lately at 
2520 Vincent Ave.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. E. H. Tall and Mrs. Charles Diani of Norfolk.

The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30. A 
funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Wednesday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
