Carty of Sask, Canada, died at the residence of his brother-in-law, Walter Eustis, 210 Westover Avenue, last night at 9 o’clock, aged 57 years. The funeral will be private at the residence Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock, conducted by Rev. George W. Perryman, pastor of the First Baptist Church. He leaves two sisters, Mrs. W.V. Eustis and Mrs. J.O. Thomas of Norfolk. At the time of his death he was in Norfolk on a visit to his sister, Mrs. Eustis. Carty, who died Friday night at the residence of his brother-in-law, Walter Eustis, 210 Westover Avenue, will take place at the above residence at 3 o’clock this afternoon. Services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. C.S. Blackwell. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
