Casey, died yesterday morning at an early hour in his home, in Virginia street, after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Casey came here from Nansemond County, Va., about twenty-five years ago. He was 65 years old. Formerly he was in the employ of the Norfolk County Ferry company as engineer. He was a member of the following orders: Chesapeake Tribe No. 50, I.O.R.M.; Lee Lodge No. 74, I.O.O.F.; Order of Marine Engineers; Niemeyer-Shaw Camp, Confederate Veterans. He is survived by his wife and one brother, Hiram Casey. His funeral will take place in Berkley Avenue Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The interment will be made in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. Rev. W.A Smith, pastor of the church, will officiate.
