Virginian Pilot and the Norfolk Landmark March 30, 1926

Hiram E. Casey, aged 66, died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at his home, 
315 State Street, after a long illness.  His wife, Mrs. Mollie N. Casey and 
two daughters, Mrs. Daisey V. Perkinson and Mrs. Bertha M. Brent and 30 
grandchildren survive him.  He was a native of Nansemond County and had lived 
in this section 54 years, where he was well known and had many friends.  He 
was a lumber inspector by trade.  Funeral arrangements will be announced 
later.
