Norfolk - Clareen W. Casey, 84, passed away peacefully May 7, 2014. She was 
preceded in death by her son, Stephen T. Casey, and her parents, James R. Winfield 
and Louisa T. Winfield.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Casey (Lucy), Martin Casey (Carrie), David 
Casey, Kevin Casey and Peter Casey; six grandchildren, Erin Fridley (Joseph), 
Lauren Casey, Michael Casey, Jr., Caroline Casey, Emily Casey, and Benjamin Casey; 
five sisters and three brothers, Robert Winfield, Barbara Rossi(Anthony), Faye 
Edwards(William), Earl Winfield(Maria), Mary Lou Epstein(Robert), Brenda 
Page(Robert), Linda Matthews(Arthur) and Brian Winfield (Carol).

Clareen was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Norfolk, VA, and the 
Sweet Adelines singing group. Clareen loved to dance, sing and help those in need. 
She loved her family very much and always enjoyed being with them. We will all 
miss her smiles, laughter and loving ways.

The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive 
Chapel, on Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 6 to7:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be 
celebrated at 12 p.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Fr. 
Joseph H. Metzger, III. Interment will be at a later date.
