NORFOLK — Mrs. Catharine T. Casey, 74, of 817 Manteo St., the widow of Martin S. 
Casey, died in a hospital Saturday.

A native of Petersburg, she lived most of her life in Norfolk and was a member of 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was a daughter of Luke and Mrs. India V. Thayer.

She is survived by a son, Martin S. Casey Jr., a sister, Mrs. Ellen R. Hopkins, 
and a brother, Charles 0. Thayer, all of Norfolk; and five grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Monday at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral service will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. 
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The family will be at 6238 Niagara Circle.
