                       THOMAS M. CASHIN DIES AT AGE OF 63
          Former Member of Council and Long Prominent in Affairs of City

Thomas M. Cashin, former member of the City Council and for years prominent in 
the business and civic affairs of the city, died last night at 7:30 o'clock at a 
local hospital. He was 63 years old.
The body will be taken from the residence, 2601 Granby Street, to St. Mary's 
Catholic Cemetery Wednesday morning for funeral services at 10 o'clock. Burial 
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Mr. Cashin was the son of the late Michael and Mrs. Catherine Freeman Cashin, 
and was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. He was a member of Norfolk 
Council No. 367, Knights of Columbus and a life member of Norfolk Lodge No. 38, 
B.P.O.E.
Mr. Cashin is survived by one brother, Michael T. Cashin; two sisters, Mrs. John 
E. Milan and Miss Annie E. Cashin, and a niece, Mrs. John Joseph Baecher.

CASHIN, THOMAS M. — At a local hospital, Sunday, February 10, 1935, at 7:30 
o’clock p.m., THOMAS M., son of the late Michael and Catherine Freeman Cashin, 
in the 64th year of his age.
Remains will be taken from the residence, No. 2601 Granby street, to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church for funeral services WEDNESDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock. Friends of 
the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
