Virginian-Pilot  April 30, 1918
The funeral of Miss Katie Cecelia Cashin was held yesterday morning at 10 o’clock 
at St. Mary's Catholic Church, four priests officiating. Rev. Joseph Friolo of 
Roanoke, celebrant; Rev. P. P. Brennan, deacon; Rev. Vincent Warren, sub-deacon; 
Rev. George W. Dunn, master of ceremonies. Rev. John J. Doherty and Rev R. B. Kea- 
ley were also present. The funeral was largely attended and there was a 
magnificent display of floral offerings. During the services Mrs. Jas. Hughes sang 
"Angels Ever Bright and Fair." Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, the pallbearers 
being as follows: William Connelly, David Donovan, James G. Long, Paul Santos, 
James Madden, David Fitzgibbon, J. C. Prince, M. J. Murphy, Dr. J. A. Hart and 
Joseph S. Crowling.
