Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, August 15, 1990 
Vessie Braithwaite Cason, of the 1600 block of Stephenson Ave., died Aug. 12,
1990, in her home.

Mrs. Cason was a native of Princess Anne County. She was a member of New St.
John A.M.E. Church, Virginia Beach, and served on its steward board. She was the
widow of Johnnie Cason.

Survivors include a son, Eddie L. Cason of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren and
11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in New St. John A.M.E. Church by
the Rev. E.H. Terrell Jr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Community Funeral
Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
