Virginian-Pilot August 14, 1918
The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth F. Cason, wife of J. M. Cason, was held yesterday 
afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Freemason street Baptist church, and was conducted 
by Rev. C. H. Trueblood, of the Burrows Memorial Baptist church. There was a large 
attendance and numerous floral offerings. Interment was in Elmwood, the 
pallbearers being: W. E. Parsons, S. E. Vick, D. J. McPherson, John McCrain, W. M. 
Mixon, W. S. Henderson, O. H. Carroll, all of the O. F. A.
