Virginian Pilot November 4, 2005

NORFOLK - Larry W. Cason of the 5000 block of Webster St. entered into eternal 
rest Oct. 28, 2005, in Philadelphia. A native of Norfolk, he was the oldest son 
of Mrs. Ruth Smith. He was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth Smith and Rodney 
Smith.

Larry received his early education in Norfolk public schools. While living in 
Norfolk, he attended St. John's AME Church with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Thomasine Rumble Cason; mother, Ruth 
Smith; brother, Michael Smith; and aunts, nieces, cousins and a host of friends.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons 
Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Viewing will be today from 2 to 7 p.m. at the funeral 
home. The family will receive friends at 213 E. Dexter St., Chesapeake.
