VIRGINIA BEACH — Arthur Aloysius Cassidy, 59, of 5409 Count Turf Road, the husband 
of Mrs. Marie Sansone Cassidy, died Saturday night in a Hampton hospital.

A native of New York, he was a son of Arthur A. and Mrs. Florence Pinkney Cassidy 
and lived in Norfolk since 1943.

He was a Catholic, a veteran of World War II, member of the 9th Regiment 
Association of New York and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3160.

Besides his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Cassidy of 
Virginia Beach.

The body will be taken from H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, to Sacred 
Heart Catholic Church for a funeral mass Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial, with military 
honors, will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The Office of the Dead will be recited in the funeral home tonight at 7:30.
