Virginian-Pilot January 25, 1952
CASTLE, WILLIAM L. – At a local hospital, Wednesday, January 23, 1952, at 4 p.m., 
WILLIAM L. CASTLE, son of the late Henry N. and Mrs. Marie Lane Castle, in the 
70th year of his age. Services at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, FRIDAY AFTERNOON at 3:30 o’clock. Friends of the 
family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
While his tombstone has his death on January 22, 1952, his death certificate and 
obituary say it was the 23rd.
