Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Cato was a native of Baltimore and had resided in Norfolk for 13 years, residing at 820 Maury Place at the time of her death. Besides her husband, Frank J. Cato, she is survived by her parents, James J. Byrne and Mrs. Frances Murphy Byrne, of Norfolk; a brother, the Rev. F.J. Byrne, S.T.D., of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. Mary O'Brien, of Portsmouth; Mrs. C.H. Wheat, of Ocean View, and Miss Catherine M. Byrne, of Norfolk and a number of nieces and nephews. The body now is at the residence on Maury Place. Rosary services will be held there tonight at 8 o'clock. *************************************************************************** Mrs. Frances Regina Cato — Solemn requiem mass for Mrs. Cato, wife of Frank J. Cato, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Byrne, whose death occurred Friday night, was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday morning at 10 o'clock, with the Rev. Francis J. Byrne, S.T.D., celebrant of the mass; the Rev. Paul. V. Heller, deacon; the Rev. Thomas P. Scannell, subdeacon, and the Rev. E. P. Kilgalen, master of ceremonies. Present in the sanctuary were the Rev. P. C. Blackburn, the Rev. F. V. Bambrick, the Rev. Robert B. Kealey, the Rev. James B. Albert, S.S.J., the Rev. Joseph E. Turner, S.S.J., the Very Rev. F. Joseph Magri, the Rev. Harold Nott, the Rev. Martin J. Harrison, the Rev. Leo J. Ryan, S.T.D., the Rev. P. A. Van Gangezwinkel and the Rev. James Brennan. There was a very large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, pink roses and ferns. During the service E. Vincent Smith sang “Benedictus,” and "Veni Jesu,” with Prof. J. Harvey Stevens as organist. In his address at the conclusion of the mass, the Rev. E. P. Kilgalen took his text from the Epistle of the Holy Trinity and compared it to the life of Mrs. Cato. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were William J. O’Brien, Frank B. Wheat, J. Richard Wheat, Charles R. Wheat, Everett Hewitt, Jr., Emmett Hogan, John Riley and Harold Hissel.
