She was the widow of George A. Caton. Mrs. Caton retired from Air-A-Plane Corp. as an executive secretary after 40 years of employment. Mrs. Caton was a member of Senior Group of Ferebee Halstead United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Survivors include two daughters, Marie Catherine White, and her husband, Robert, of Newport Beach, Calif., and Flora Elizabeth Welsh and her husband, John, of Harvard, Mass.; three grandchildren, Katherine Welsh-Dohnal, Karl August Welsh and Jennifer Welsh-Benjamin; and one great-grandson, Gregory Cavollo Welsh; and several nieces and nephews, including Joseph Rudolph, and his wife, Helen, of Chesapeake. A chapel service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, by the Rev. Bruce Carper. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
