P. Caudle and only daughter of Lewis C. and the late Lucy C. Dey. Funeral services will be held at the residence MONDAY, May 7, 1900, at 12 o'clock noon. Friends and acquaintances of the family invited to attend. ************************************************************************ The obsequies of Mrs. Carrie Belle Caudle, wife of Mr. Wm. P. Caudle, of Richmond, was held from the residence of her father, Mr. Lewis C. Dey, No. 35 Dartmouth Street, at noon yesterday in the presence of a large gathering of sorrowing relatives and friends. The services were conducted by Rev. A. Coke Smith, D.D., of Epworth M.E. Church, by whom Mr. and Mrs. Caudle were united in the bonds of holy matrimony just three weeks ago. There was a profusion of beautiful floral tributes. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: R.A. Dodson, Albert Wilkinson, Russell Webb, Murray Priest, Portius Deming, R.E. Warren, Charles Thurston, W.F. Lumley and W.R. Cooke.
