Virginian Pilot September 3, 1904

                          WELL-KNOWN CITIZEN DEAD

C.R. Cave, a well known and highly respected citizen died at his home in 
Montlant avenue after an illness of several years yesterday morning at 8 
o'clock.  The deceased was 68 years of age and was a native of England, but 
had lived in this country a great many years.  In addition to host of friends, 
the deceased leaves a grief stricken widow.  The funeral will be conducted 
from the residence this afternoon at 5 o'clock and the interment will be in 
Magnolia Cemetery.
