Norfolk - A funeral service for Mrs. Lelia P. Chalmers of 106 E. 28th 
street, received final rites in Hale Funeral Chapel.  The Rev. H. T. Myers 
officiated.

A native of Greensville TN she was the wife of Stanley A. Chalmers and the 
daughter of the late John and Mrs. Stella Payne.

She was an usher at Bank Street Baptist Church and a member of United Order 
of Tents No. 60.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Stanley Jr. and Warner 
Chalmers, both of Norfolk.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery
