Harvey Lee Chambers, 65, of 908 Middlesex street, who died at his home Jan. 24, 
received final rites Sunday at St. Mark’s Congregational Christian Church.

The Rev. D. P. Butts officiated at the service.  Interment was in Mt. Olive 
Cemetery with Fitchett Funeral Home in charge.

A member of St. Mark’s church Mr. Chambers was a native of Statesville, NC.  He 
is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Ina Lee Ricks of Portsmouth, Mrs. Marie W. 
Harris, Mrs. Irene White, Mrs. Creola Allison, and Mrs. Annie P. Ritchard of 
Norfolk.
