Virginian Pilot July 15, 1986

Leonard Carl Chambers, 44, of the 2400 block of Spruce St. died July 12, 1986, 
in his home.
Mr. Chambers, a native of Newport, Ky, was a member of Christ the King Catholic 
Church.
Survivors include six sisters, Ethel Mellott and Vivian Thompson, both of 
Norfolk, Frances Pangallo of New Orleans, Evelyn Williams of Brilliant, Ala, 
Alice Croswit of Richcrest, Calif. and Margaret Baldwin of Covington, Ky.; and 
three brothers, Charles Chambers and Elmer D. Chambers, both of Dayton, Ky. and 
Lawrence Chambers of Erlanger, Ky.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. J. Michael Breslin.  The family will be at the residence.  
The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 
6 to 10 p.m. today.  Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Infant Home.
