Norfolk Virginian July 6, 1893
CHANCE – At the residence of son-in-law, Capt. John Meads, corner Middleton and 
Lee streets, Berkley, Wednesday morning at 1:30 o’clock, Mrs. ANN CHANCE, aged 70 
years.
The funeral will take place from Christ P. E. Church THIS (Thursday) AFTERNOON at 
5 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.


Additional Comments:
While the first names are different, perhaps she was Sarah Ann and went by Ann.
