She was born in Staunton, Va. and was the widow of John H. Chancey. A retired homemaker, she was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Roberts, Frances Davis, Constance Hollingsworth; three sons, Melvin Chancey, Frank Chancey and Phillip Chancey; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a son-in-law; three daughters-in-law; and other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Humboldt Street, by Brother Ronald R. Johnson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
