 The Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday September 25, 1936
Mrs. Helen Deal Chandler, age 39 years, wife of Dr. Webster M. Chandler, and 
daughter of Mrs. Nannie B. and the late George W. Deal, a native and 
lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 4:50 o'clock yesterday morning at the 
residence, 1020 Larchmont crescent. Besides her husband, Dr. Webster M. 
Chandler, she is survived by two sons, Webster M. Jr. and Richard Deal 
Chandler, her mother, Mrs. Nannie B. Deal, all of Norfolk, one sister, Mrs. 
R.E. O'Brien, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and one brother, Walter K. Deal, of 
Washington, D.C. Mrs. Chandler was a member of Larchmont Baptist Church. 
Funeral services will be held at the above residence, tomorrow afternoon at 
3:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
