Virginian-Pilot September 25, 1964
NORFOLK – Carolyn Lane Chaplin, 9-day-old daughter of Warren S. and Mrs. 
Virginia Theisen Chaplin, of 2811 Dona Ave., Alexandria, died in Alexandria 
Wednesday morning.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a sister, Miss Diana Lea Chaplin, and 
two brothers, Richard S. Chaplin and Donald M. Chaplin, all of Alexandria; 
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Theisen of Norfolk; and paternal 
grandparents, Richard N. Chaplin of Norfolk and Mrs. Frances Stephenson of 
Daytona Beach, Fla.
A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Saturday at 
1 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
