Virginian-Pilot, September 13, 1933
Harrell Earl Chapman, aged 32, died suddenly in Wilmington, Del., Monday night 
at 11:30 o'clock. He was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, a son of 
Edgar E. and Mrs. Cornelia Harrell Chapman, of Virginia Beach.
In addition to  his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Nee 
Chapman; a daughter, Margaret Louise Chapman, of Hingham, Mass. and three 
sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Hayden, Virginia Beach; Mrs. Herbert L. Bonney, Nashville,
Tenn, and Miss Doris Chapman, Baltimore.
The body will be brought to Norfolk and will be taken to Cedar Grove Cemetery 
for private funeral services and burial tomorrow afternoon.
