Virginian-Pilot October 31, 1918
William Henry Chapman died yesterday afternoon at the age of 89 years at the home 
of his daughter, Mrs. K. L. Chapman, of West Thirty-third street. He was a retired 
jewelry merchant, and past master of the Atlantic Lodge, No. 2, A. F. and A. M. 
Funeral services will take place privately at the grave this afternoon at 4 
o’clock, Rev. J. M. Rowland officiating.
