Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark Thursday June 21, 1917

A.W. Chapman, formerly of Norfolk, died suddenly Monday in Washington, aged 61 
years.  He was well known in this city.  The remains were brought to Norfolk 
yesterday morning, accompanied by members of his family and the burial took 
place in Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. J.M. Rowland officiating.
