The Virginian Pilot Friday July 14, 1961
Miss Terry Elizabeth Chapman, 18, died after a long illness at her home, 210 
Brackenridge Ave., Thursday at 9 p.m.
A lifelong resident here, she was a member of Park Place Methodist Church. 
Surviving are her parents, James Dudley Chapman and Mrs. Elizabeth Morrisette 
Chapman; a brother, Howard D. Chapman of Norfolk; maternal grandmother, Mrs. John 
T. Terry of Norfolk; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. D.H. Chapman of Richmond.
A funeral service will be held in Cox Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. with burial in 
Forest Lawn Cemetery.
