New Journal and Guide, February 15, 1941
Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Chappell, wife of Tholley Chappell, who died at her
home, 1520 Princess Anne Road, were held Sunday, February 2, from the St. John
A.M.E. Church with the pastor, the Rev. H.M. Shields officiating. A solo was
rendered by Mrs. Hattie Joe. Interment in Calvary cemetery. W.F. Taylor and Sons had
charge of arrangements.
