Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Jun 27,1936
Albert Chappelle, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tholley Chappelle, died at his home on
Wednesday, June 10, and his funeral was held at St. John’s A. M. E. Zion Church,
with the Rev. J. A. Young, pastor, officiating last Sunday.  He was a native of
Norfolk and was a schoolboy at the Booker T. Washington High School.  He is
survived by his parents, and three brothers, Melvin, Roland and James Chappelle.
 He was buried in Calvary Cemetery.
