Mrs. Alma Chappell, 60, of 830 Washington avenue, was given final rites Thursday
at First Baptist Church, Bute street.

The Rev. E. Paul Simms officiated at the service. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Chappell died at her home on March 30. She was a native of Elk Creek. Her
parents were the late Edward Hale and Mrs. Eliza Hale.

The deceased, who held membership in First Baptist, is survived by an aunt, a
nephew, and a niece.
