Norfolk Journal and Guide,Mar 10,1945
Mrs. Sarah Charity - Funeral services for Mrs. Charity, 4221 Bowden Ferry road, 
who died Feb. 23, were held Feb. 28 from Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. C. 
D. Ellis officiating. Surviving are three sons, four daughters, two sisters, and 
45 grandchildren. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in 
charge.
