Norfolk - Muriel Margaret Donneaud Charton, 90, died peacefully in a local 
hospital. She was a native of New York City, New York, and lived in Norfolk since 
1975. She was the daughter of the late Andrew P. Donneaud and Margaret Dollicker 
Donneaud and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward V. Charton, and her 
sister, Adrienne D. Schellings. Mrs. Charton retired from the Medical College of 
Hampton Roads as a Payroll Specialist in 1991. She was a member of Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, a former member of its choir and an active volunteer. 
She is survived by her nephew, Richard J. Schellings. The Funeral Mass will be 
celebrated on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM, in Blessed Sacrament Catholic 
Church. The Reverend Father Joseph H. Metzger III will officiate. Burial will be 
in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is
