NORFOLK - Mrs. Lucy Dudley Chase, 89, widow of Adelbert R. Chase and daughter of 
Ethelbert and Mrs. Mary Fentress Dudley, died at 1:25 a.m. Friday in a Norfolk 
hospital.
She was a native of Princess Anne County and a lifelong resident of this area, 
she lived at 639 Connecticut Ave. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic 
Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert L. Ellis Sr. and Mrs. John H. Coster of 
Norfolk, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be said at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. 
A funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Monday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
