Rev. John Chavis - Funeral services for Rev. Mr. Chavis, 1415 43rd street, who 
died on Oct. 24, were held at the Pentecostal Holiness Church on Oct. 28 with the 
Rev. Mrs. M. E. Braye officiating. He is mourned by his wife, Mrs. Elouise Chavis, 
and a host of relatives and friends. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with the 
Hale Funeral Home in charge.
