Virginian Pilot March 8, 1983

BROOKLYN, N.Y.  - James S. Cheatham, a native of Norfolk, Va. and the husband of 
the late Ivory Cheatham, died Feb. 28 in a hospital.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, James Samuel Cheatham Jr. of New York; a brother, Soloman 
Cheatham of Norfolk; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Graves Funeral Chapel, Norfolk, by 
the Rev. Randolph Taylor. Burial with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery.
The family will assemble at 11:45 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
