NORFOLK — Earl Hubert Cheek Jr. of 825 Avenue A. a Norfolk native, died Saturday 
in his home.

Mr. Cheek, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, is survived by his parents, 
Josephine B. and Earl H. Cheek Sr.; a sister, Linda Suarez of Philadelphia; and 
two brothers, Brandon C. Cheek and Jeffrey A. Cheek, both of Norfolk.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at noon Wednesday in St. Mary’s 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Walter C. Barrett. Burial will be in the church 
cemetery. A wake will be held at 7 p.m. today in Jones Funeral Home. The family 
will be at 2615 Ludlow St.
