Mr. Cherry, a son of the late Peter Wilson and Mrs. Sidney Sykes Cherry, and husband of Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Cherry had lived in Washington the past five years and was chief electrician at the Lee-Sheridan Hotel. He also was a veteran of the World War. Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Clyde Briggs of New Jersey; one daughter, Mrs. Linwood Parrish, of Campostella Heights, Norfolk; two brothers, W.S. Cherry of Norfolk and Lester Cherry of Cradock and one grandchild. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
